Take a look at the videos above divided into three categories: Beginner's, Intermediate and Advanced
Beginner's Yoga: This class introduces the principles and basics of yoga. It is taught with verbal instructions and demonstrations of poses with clear steps for entry into and exit out of poses with awareness, care, and focus. The class works with individuals with little to no experience in Yoga, at the same time helping deepen the practice for those with experience. In these classes we practice seated and standing poses, twists, balances, and preparatory forward folds and backward bends.
Intermediate Yoga: These classes extend the scope by staying in the poses longer, exploring more options, and deepening the poses. The class introduces inversions. It is ideal for students who have been regularly practicing for about a year and are ready to take the next step. Classes are taught with verbal instructions and demonstrations, with extensive and creative use of props to instruct and inform the student of the proper actions in each pose, providing information on contra-indications and options as needed.
Advanced Yoga: These classes are for experienced practitioners. You should be comfortable with all the standing pose series, twisting series and be comfortable in inversions including Sirsasana (headstand) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand). The poses practiced during these classes may include full inversions, forward folds and backward bends, twists, arm balances, and other advanced poses. Classes are taught with verbal instructions and demonstrations, with information on options as needed. Practitioners hold the poses longer and are encouraged to experience the proper actions throughout the pose.
Restorative Yoga: This is a healing practice using supportive props to relax and open the body through passive extension. This deeply relaxing practice includes traditional hatha yoga poses and other relaxing poses. Poses are held for longer durations with little movement, allowing the body to relax, release and restore. This practice is suitable for all levels.
